Nestled within the Kalauao ahupua‘a (land division), Pearl at Kalauao is a club deeply rooted in the mo‘olelo (stories), wahi pana (storied places), and traditional names of the ‘āina (land), while honoring its history as Pearl Country Club.
Now, after exciting renovations, we offer enhanced facilities, premium paspalum greens, and a revitalized experience that blends tradition with modern luxury.
OUR STORY | Mo‘olelo
Since 1967, Pearl at Kalauao has been a cherished part of O‘ahu’s golf community. Originally designed by Akira Sato, this par-72 course has long offered golfers both a challenge and breathtaking views of Pu‘uloa (Pearl Harbor) and the Wai‘anae mountains.
In 2020, ownership returned to Kamehameha Schools, establishing Pearl at Kalauao as a distinctive public golf course in Hawai‘i.
With recent renovations, we’ve elevated the course and facilities to honor its past while embracing a bright future. As stewards of this ‘āina (land), we are committed to supporting Native Hawaiian learners, fostering community, and offering a truly unique golf experience for all.
